  3. Hi Roxee - this is a beautiful pattern, however I am having trouble with it. I am a beginner so maybe I am doing something wrong. The pattern says CO 41, however row 7 - K4 P32 K4 is 40 stitches. On row 10 when I end the 4th repeat before doing the YO K2TOG K5 I have only 3 stitches left on tge needle. When you SL1 do you do it knitwise or purlwise?
    Thanks,
    Kathy

  4. I'm also a beginner. The pattern say when you get to rows 20-55. REP 7-18, My question is on row 19 is a k4, p32, k4 row. And row 7 would be a k4, p32, k4. So if I'm reading this pattern right and like I said I'm a beginner. would both rows 19 & 20 be a k4, p32, k4? when looking at my cloth it has a ridge and from looking at the picture above I do not see that. Thanks for any help you can give me.

  5. Hi Rosie... I love the looks of this pattern.. However I have a question. I'm a beginner so I'm not sure if its me or if I'm just not reading the pattern correctly. I have knitted down to through row 19 which is a k4, p32, k4 row. then for rows 20-55 it says to repeat row 7-18. However that would make row 19 & 20 a K4, P32, K4 row... Is this correct? I did that an my cloth seems to have a ridge caused by knitting two of the same row. Like I said I am a beginner so maybe I'm just reading the pattern correctly,. Please advise. Thank you

  7. Hi, not sure you received my last question. I lead an Adult Ed knitting class and I am going to show them the shell dishcloth I knit. (it turned out great!) Would it be alright if I shared the pattern with those who may wish to make it? Thanks.

  9. On row 8 how can you repeat 4x? If you knit 6 at the beginning and end and knit 5 each repeat that alone is 32 stitches. The YO SL1 K1 PSSO are 4 repeated 4x is 16. That’s a total of 48 stitches for row 8 when you only cast on 40. How does this work?
